The Galapagos Islands really are as good as they say (just ask any of our guests from the 2008 trip).
Located 1,000 Km. off Ecuador’s Pacific coast, this mysterious and fascinating archipelago is comprised of 13 large islands, six smaller ones and over 40 islets. Its remoteness and position in the midst of several major ocean currents has led to the development of a truly unique variety and amount of underwater marine life. This life ranges from the expected Reef Fish, Turtles, Rays and Dolphins, through to unprecedented amounts of schooling Hammerhead Sharks, rare Galapagos Sharks, Sealions and even Penguins. The dives here are as unique as the marine life that inhabits it, and will ,without doubt, be the pinnacle of your diving career.
As this WWR trip sees us head so far from civilisation we will need the support of a boat and team to match. The Galpagos Sky (formerly Sky Dancer) has a long term heritage in the Galpagos and is the perfect dive base for our trip. She is a 30m Steel Hulled boat, featuring 16 Air Conditioned and En-Suite Cabins, Spacious Dive Deck, Sun Deck and an attention to detail that is second to none. You will even be treated to fresh towels daily, hot drinks after each dive and a sumptuous French Style dining experience. The overall itinerary for this once in a lifetime trip will see us leave the UK and fly into Quito for a night. We will then head to the boat to begin our adventure – once onboard we will gradually work our way through the inner islands (diving as we go) right out to the most remote dive sites at Darwin and Wolf. Throughout the entire trip there will be both subsurface and land based exploration activities making this a true Adventure Trip.

The nature of this Galapagos 2012 Trip means that it can be enhanced yet further with the addition of extra experiences at the end of the trip in either the Galapagos Islands themselves or on the Mainland. An additional option of this nature is being confirmed.
