Scuba Diving in Paradise – Philippine Quest

Philippine QuestWith a unique approach to a Scuba Diving Safari this Philippine Quest trip will quite possibly be the best dive trip you may ever enjoy. With a Bangka (traditional outrigger boat) as our dive base and transport for the trip we will slowly travel from island to Dive Site and onwards throughout this lush green paradise.

The Scuba Diving here in the Visayas is calm and easy, ideal for every underwater pleasure seeker, and its sheer remoteness brings with it a plethora of marine life far beyond almost anywhere else on earth. However, the experience is not simply limited to the sub-surface zone, as, on this trip, your interaction and absorption into the local communities on our travels is as much a part of the adventure.

Once we arrive in the Philippines at Cebu City we will head to the first of our hotels for a rest and overnight stay before heading off on our adventure the next morning; as we head south to our first dive destination of Moalboal through the small villages and countryside of the island we will have a chance to discover the waterfalls of Kawasan and stop off for a swim; once at Moalboal we will be able to explore the vertical walls and extraordinarily colourful corals and sponges of White Beach and Pescador Island over a three night stop; we then board our Bangka and head down to Apo Island, of course diving as we go.

2ND OCTOBER TO 15TH OCTOBER 2011 APPROX 20 GUIDED DIVES OF DISCOVERY FIVE DESTINATION ACCOMODATION ONLY £2850pp

Once here we have the opportunity to dive this Marine Reserve and discover everything from small Reef Fish right up to large Reef Sharks and Barracuda for two nights. At the end of this stage we again board our Bangka and travel North to Siquijor for more diving discovery over our two night stay at this secluded retreat. Onwards again then on our Bangka to Panglao Island for three nights. At Panglao Island the diving is again massively varied with us expecting to see everything from Turtles, Jacks, Parrot Fish and Rays right through to the extraordinary Ghost Pipefish, Frog Fish and Dragon Fish. Finally we head back to Cebu on our trusty Bangka for a relaxing banquet and well earned nights sleep before traveling home.

This unique island hooping approach offers the best of both worlds, superb access to the best diving sites combined with overnight accommodation in some of the most beautiful surroundings you could ever imagine.

A deliberate preference has been placed on the location, service and charm of our various accommodations, making these simple but adequate hotels some of the nicest you will ever have experienced. This approach provides us with an unprecedented and privileged amount of interaction with the locals, making this a true Warm Water Rush Adventure Experience.

This Warm Water Rush trip really does look like it could be the closest we come to Scuba Diving in Paradise !
