Dugong - Marsa Alam
Our Red Sea Summer Splash for this year sees us head down south to Marsa Alam, one of the most un-touched and pristine areas available to us for resort diving in the Egyptian Red Sea. The diving around Marsa Alam is simply superb offering us the chance to dive with huge pods of fifty-plus Dolphins at ‘Dolphin House Reef’; Oceanic White Tip Sharks at Elphinstone; masses and masses of Reef Fish on every single dive; Turtles; Eagle Rays; Thorny Rays; and even the possibility of bumping into George and Lucy two of the resident Dugong’s that can be found in the Sea Grass areas.

Once you and our S+O Group Leader have met up at Manchester it will be a swift five hour flight direct into Marsa Alam, and then an even quicker 10 minute transfer to our resort. Our accomodation will be at the Marina Lodge, home to our Egyptian Dive Centre Partners, Emperor Divers.

The Marina Lodge rooms are all decorated in Nubian style and set around their water side location overlooking the harbour, pool and out to sea. All rooms have air con, balcony, mini bar and en suite come as standard. As one of the most remote resort destinations in the popular Red Sea areas, you are assured a relaxing dive break with the chance to experience some of your best diving in 2010. All of course shared with a great group of local divers and your S+O Group Leader.
