Scuba Diver
If you’ve already done your resort course (or maybe a few) and are looking to gain a little more independance, but without loosing the adding comfort of an Instructor close by, then the PADI Scuba Diver programme is your perfect next step. The PADI Scuba Diver programme is in simple terms the first half of the full PADI Open Water programme, enabling you to dive semi-independently on your next resort trip.
Within your PADI Scuba Diver programme you will complete the first three Academic and Confined Water modules of the Open Water programme, where you will learn how to fully assemble and disassemble your equipment; complete various safe water entries and exists in scuba equipment; learn how to clear water from your scuba mask whilst underwater; recover dislodged regulators and to donate and breathe from an alternate air source (octopus), all of course under the close supervision of our world class scuba training team. Once these elements are complete, and both you and your instructor are happy, you will move to an open water venue to complete your two Open Water qualifying dives.
The programme is delivered within one of our standard Open Water training programmes at any of our existing venues, meaning that you have some like minded divers around as you progress through your programme. Of course if after you’ve completed your three PADI Scuba Diver modules, you want to upgrade to the full Open Water programme and continue along with your buddies thats no problem, just let our training team know. As with all of our recreational scuba programmes all specialist equipment is provided throughout the programme, although advise can be given at any time on acquiring your own items of kit.
In order to complete this programme you will need the PADI Open Water Diver Multi Media Pack, which incorporates your PADI Training Manual; PADI Training DVD; PADI Log Book; Student Record Card; Recreational Dive Planner and of course PADI Registration Fees for your license.
