Open Water Referral

If you’ve already tried scuba on your last holiday or have simply made up your mind that you prefer to explore the crystal clear waters of the more tropical oceans then our PADI Open Water Referal programme is your ideal Learn To Dive option. As learning to dive is quite time consuming it can be awkward and not necessarily the best use of your time when on holiday, so with this option you can complete all of your Academic and Confined Water skill development session right here in the UK, and then simply complete your four qualifying dives overseas.

Your PADI Open Water Referal programme will follow exactly the same format as our standard Open Water programme, but will simply exclude the four final qualifying dives. Once you have completed your Academic and Confined Water session with the rest of your scuba buddies your instructor will complete and International Referal Form certifying that you are now ready to complete your final qualifying dives. With your Referal Form in hand you can head off on holiday and complete your final dives with any other PADI centre around the world.

We offer this programme at many venues across the Midlands and Staffordshire, details of these can be found in our schedule, but the programme remains the same. The course is built up from just three elements, Self Study; Classroom and Pool. Each of these elements is designed to build up week on week to provide you with the Knowledge, Skills and Experience you need to make you into a competent, safe and comfortable Underwater Adventurer, ready for you to complete your qualifying dives overseas.

To reduce the amount of time you need to be classroom based to a minimum we will utilise the PADI support materials to the maximum. With the aid of your PADI Open Water Diver Manual and loan video you will be able to absorb the bulk of the required information at a time that suits you via a Self Study approach. This knowledge will then be reinforced and reviewed each week in the Classroom, where your PADI Instructor will continue your Knowledge Development, before moving through to the Pool. Yes this is a practical hands on Sport and as such we will get you into the water and start your training straight away. The individual skills and techniques you will need to learn in the pool will all be briefed, demonstrated and perfected in small segments as you work towards your first real Underwater Adventure, when you experience your first Open Water Dives at the end of the course.

Throughout the course you will be trained directly by our own World Class Training Team, in the highest quality and exactingly maintained equipment, although our team will of course be more than happy to talk you through the selection of your own equipment should you wish.
