Course
Content
The IANTD deep diver course is designed to train divers in the
skills, performance, theory and planning of deep dives. It is
recommended that this course be taking in conjunction with
either the basic or advanced nitrox courses. The course is
taught over three days, including over 100 minutes of OW bottom
time spread of four dives.
Theory is normally held at one of the Scuba & Outdoor Pursuits
Facilities and dives are normally completed at Stoney Cove. Both
aspects can be completed at any other location, please contact
us regarding availability and costs.

Prerequisites
Course is open to all divers over the age of 18 (15 with parent
or guardian approval) qualified to Advanced Open Water or
Equivalent, with proof of a minimum of 10 logged dives.
Equipment Requirements
Basic scuba
equipment is required along with
An adequate gas supply
fitted with a dual outlet valve, or a 3lt pony cylinder
Reel and DSMB
Slate
Qualification
Upon completion of the course and passing of the written exam,
the IANTD Deep Diver card will be issued. This qualifies the
diver to dive to depths of up to 30m.
