Ok, who hasn’t watched a James Bond film, as the legendary special agent zooms about underwater on his DPV / Underwater Scooter, and thought Mmmmm “I could do that”. Well now is your chance, as we have introduced the PADI DPV / Underwater Scooter Speciality Course to our calendar for 2007. So your mission should you choose to accept it, is to glide through the water, effortlessly exploring in true James Bond style !

This new programme is exclusively taught by one of our best known Instructors “Big Bob”, on the superb Seedo GTI DPV / Scooters, ensuring you really can slip into the role of 007, with no problems at all (tuxedo not included). The popularity of Underwater Scooters and DPV’s has literally gone through the roof, and once you’ve tried one its easy to see why.

If you are a UK coastal explorer, looking to get a little further out of the bay; a wreck junkie who wants to cover the whole wreck in a single dive; or a warm water visitor who simply wants to take life easy, a DPV should be your weapon of choice (along with the poison darts, and rotating number plates of course).

The programme comprises all of the basic elements you need to keep yourself safe and sound whilst using a DPV. It incorporates correct assembly & maintenance; rigging considerations; dive planning and safety aspects; confined water intro session; and two of the best open water dives ever!
