Here they are our latest batch of Scuba Diving newbies on their very first dip under the surface. With so many of you wanting to dive in for a go at Scuba Diving in Cannock at the moment its hard to get you all booked in, but of course we’re managing.

So after an aprehensive start for some (well after all it is a whole new world down there) it was seriously huge smiles all round for Chrissy, Luke, Ewan, Gareth, Paul and Donna after they completed their very first Scuba Diving in Cannock at our Sunday session.

Ok, its not very often you hear that phrase, new Scuba Diving Wreck in Cannock, but this time will be one you’ll never forget. Well certainly the two fresh faced young divers that got the opportunity to dive in on the new wreck as its very first underwater visitors won’t forget …

Ok, you’ve got us. The fabled new diving wreck of Cannock is not quite the same as the Titanic, Thistlegorm or Zenobia but to us (and more importantly our PADI Seal Team Junior Divers) it is just as exciting …

The sunken wreck of the ‘House-de-la-Wendy’ was the brainchild of Scuba + Outdoor Manager Danny, and after a hasty bit of re-construction and repair work before Sundays pool session she made her way beneath the surface on her maiden sinking. All that of course after a brief head scratching session, trying to work out how to get her to the pool to be sunk in the first place …

So why the wreck in the pool (and no we don’t mean Danny). This was the specifically for two of our intrepid PADI Seal Team Junior Divers to be able to complete their Seal Team Wreck Diving Aquamission …

As qualified PADI Seal Team Divers already Daniel and Lucy have been completing their Aquamissions, of Navigation, Photo and Search and Recovery in the pool over tha last few months. Now however it was time for the big one, it was tiem for their PADI Seal Team Wreck Diving mission, and boy did they enjoy it …

Scuba Diving in Lichfield took on a whole new meaning today as our Diver in Town hit the streets of Lichfield with his trusty side kick and a bundle of Learn to Dive in Lichfield flyers. The whole event was met with more than a few strange looks, but also an equal amount of happy smiles.

Scuba in Stoke took on a whole new meaning yeaterday as our Scuba Diver in Town promo hit the streets of Stoke on Trent, in particular the Shops, Offices, Building Yards and Streets of Newcastle under Lyme. Our intrepid Scuba Diver in Stoke was once again our very own gaffer, Mark Turner, who by the way is now looking all too comfortable prancing around town centres in rubber (Hmmmmm !)

Scuba Diver Mark was out and about with his Learn to Scuba Dive in Stoke Flyers and of course doing his best to put a smile on the faces of all the good folks of Stoke and Newcastle (which he of course did with style … ish). The next PADI Open Water Diver programme at the Scuba + Outdoor Pursuits Centre in Stoke is scheduled to start on Wednesday 20th April, and is at the special ‘Diver in Town’ rate of only £299.

The PADI Open Water Diver programme in Stoke will see its students learn about the Physics, Physiolgy and Environment of the Underwater World, learn about the Equipment and of course get into the pool and practise all the fun stuff to keep them safe and sound as they venture out to explore the underwater world. The programme is then completed with a series of four open water dives, either here in the UK with the team or overseas on one of their many warm water holidays.

Scuba Diving in Stoke came to Greens Health and Fitness last week, with our Stoke Scuba Centre Team taking twelve lucky members on their very first Scuba Dive at the centres own onsite pool.

The lucky Greens Health and Fitness members all got the opportunity to discover the amazing feelings of weightlessness and freedom as they expored the depths (all be it only 1.4m) of their centres swimming pool. All of the participants received a full safety and equipment briefing before heading into the pool to don their Scuba Gear, with the aid of the Stoke Scuba Team.

Once geared up everyone got the opportunity to gradually move from a standing, through kneeling, to lying position as they got used to their Scuba Gear before heading off to try Scuba Diving in Stoke for the very first time.

Scuba Diver spotted running loose in Tamworth …

Well it was a pretty warm day, and with that cylinder on his back we’re guessing the running was more of a gentle stroll, but non the less there was certainly a Scuba Diver in the centre of Tamworth yesterday.

Ok so everyone knows that Centre Owner, Mark Turner, is always happy to don his best dressing up outfit but that doesnt explain why he was strolling around the centre of Tamworth yesterday.

Well it was actually a well though out (yea right) promo effort to promote Scuba + Outdoors latest Scuba Diver Training venue in Tanmworth. The latest of the Scuba + Outdoor PADI Scuba Diver Training venues will be based at the Snowdome Leisure Centre, the pool rather than the snow melt area of course, and commence on 2nd April 2011.
