Oh yea, check out the pearly whites on this lot ! A massive congratulations goes out to our latest batch of PADI Instructors in the Midlands to join our ever expanding training team. Here they are just minutes after bein awarded the coveted title PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor at Stoney Cove on Tuesday.
So a massive well done to Nick Dickerson, Kerry Heseltine, Chris Waterhouse (Course Director), Sarah Bagdi and Danny Coldrey on their efforts, and boy oh boy did they work hard to get ready for this one.
Well done, now stop smiling and get your kit back for some teaching !

The group completed their final qualifying dives for their Sub Aqua Mission (aka PADI Open Water Diver Course) last weekend at Dosthill Dive Lake and with smiles all round they were last seen proudly boasting of their achievements in the pub !
Oh and if you were wondering what exactly they were doing with strange neon green hoods on their heads in the middle of that car park … You’ll have to give us a call to find out, well either that or dive into your own personal Sub Aqua Mission in Stoke to find out !?

The group started their Scuba Diving Lessons with a quick review of their Academics and Self Study elements at the dive centre before then moving off to the pool for the fun stuff. At the pool the group quickly mastered their equipment assembly and then it was off off and away (or rather down down down and under) to develop their fish-like scuba diving skills …
Well done on a great first session, and good luck for the rest of your Scuba Diving Lessons in Stoke to Sarah, Benjamin, Andy, Bethany and Amy. Oh and I guess a little mention of Kev and Lesley again (just to be fair) …

Here comes another new PADI Diver in Stoke. With holidays looming Eddie did set us a bit of a challenge to get him through his PADI Open WaterDiver Training programme before his trip, but with our fully flexible ‘Platnium’ level private PADI training option we’ve managed to get him sorted …
Eddie will be completing his PADI Diver Training with our new Stoke Centre Manager – Mark over the next few weeks and then completing his final qualifying dives at Stoney Cove Diving Lake during our new mid-week qualifying sessions …
With all his own gear on his back, a sense of adventure, some great tuition (Mark made us put that in !) Eddie made great progress on his first session. He even found time for some posing for the camera at the end of it …

So without further ado I guess we should tell your exactly who did complete their Scuba Diving in Stafordshire at the weekend. The congratulations roll call goes out to Jenny, Simon, Chris and Bhima … Well Done Folks !

If you’re looking to try something new then why not do what these happy bubblers did and join us to Discover Sub Aqua Sports in Birmingham. These guys and gals all completed their very first sub aqua scuba diving experience with us at our Birmingham Scuba Venue, and boy oh boy do they look like they enjoyed it !
The group was split into three smaller groups, which in turn were taught by Scuba + Outdoor Sub Aqua Sports Birmingham Instructors – Nick, Sara and Antonio. The groups all completed their Equipment Donning, Initial Water Entry and Descents and then in no time at all were swimming free as a fish round the pool with their instructors. They all of course came back together for a great game of Underwater Frisbee at the end of their session.
So a big well done to Ben, Helen, Georgina, Cosimo, matt and Laura (oh and to the Instructors too !).
