Discover Scuba at Cannons Fitness Centre

As Bob and Mark like nothing better than a dip in a posh pool, they were first to volunteer to lead our latest Corporate Splash event. The event was a Discover Scuba Session at Cannons Fitness Centre, in Cannock.

With Cannons Fitness Centre, being located just a stones throw from our Cannock Store it makes it made it an ideal venue for us. Although we probably could have carried the scuba gear over with us, were not really that daft, so the van option won.

With two groups of participants taking part in the sessions, at 7.00.pm and 8.00pm respectively, the sessions were easy to manage and great fun to take participate in (even if it was supposed to be work for Bob and Mark). The participants were fully briefed on the equipment they would be using, and the safety procedures they need to be aware of and to follow, and what they would be doing in their Discover Scuba Session.

The two groups both managed to perfect (well pretty much) their buoyancy skills and even learned how to clear excess water from their scuba masks, before mastering the art of “Underwater Frisbee” playing.

With big smiles from ear to ear and loads of questions on how to dive into (excuse the pun) the full training programme, it certainly looks like this Corporate Splash event at Cannons Fitness Centre in Cannock was a definite success.
