The best way to
sum this one up is simply “Aaaaaagh-Oooooo”, as there is
simply no other way to describe the feeling of diving face to
face with your first Hammerhead shark ...
This WWR Trip is
now in its third year, and rapidly becoming our most popular
trip, with almost total repeat bookings, year on year. Of
course its easy to see why, when returning divers are talking
of diving with 15+ Great Hammerheads; Massive Oceanic
Whitetips and Thresher Sharks. We have chosen this date for
your “WWR - Shark Safari”, as early May is the best time to
see large congregations of schooling Sharks at Daedalus, and
with the superb local knowledge of our Emperor Divers guides
we have never failed to miss them so far ...
To maximise your
experience we will be heading to the southern Red Sea, from
Port Ghalib (Marsa Alam) and heading out to the offshore
islands of Elphinstone; The Brothers and Daedalus. The diving
here (even besides the Sharks) is made great by the remoteness
of it and offers some of the best hard coral wall diving
anywhere in the world. If you are not already a photographer,
then there is never a better time to become one, the
opportunities are limitless ...
Your top of the
range accommodation and dive platform for your trip will be
M/Y Regency, and as one of the Gold Class boats, it genuinely
is about as good as it gets. This 36m boat, built in 2004,
accommodates 20 divers in spacious comfort in a mix of
en-suite and air conditioned twin berth cabins; has 3
sundecks; 2 air-conditioned salons; TV/VCR/DVD and CD; massive
dive deck and recharge facilities for torches and cameras. All
of course in addition to your local crew, who rank up their as
by far the friendliest anywhere around the world, who are
happy to give you any help they possibly can ...
As with all our
WWR Trips your S+O Group Leader - Dave Simkiss, will be on
hand from the UK (airport) onwards that everything runs
smoothly from start to finish, and to make sure you have the
most mind-blowing and best of times possible ! |
