Lake Vivian is situated
in the village of Llanberis in North Wales at the foothills of Mount
Snowdon. It was originally a slate quarry which finished working in
1958 and filled with water to form the dive site that is there
today. As a disused slate quarry Lake Vivian is relatively clean
meaning little sediment and generally good visibility. Depths range
from 6m to 18m with good fish life and various underwater
architecture to find.
