After being contacted about their DebRA fund raising event, by Angela & Mark Harris, from The Famous Old Punch Bowl pub, in Warwick, we were only too happy to get involved and help out. The Famous Old Punch Bowl pub, played host to a musical extravaganza back in September, with local bands offering their services for free; grand raffle and many other fundraising activities the evening was a great success for the DebRA charity. Tom Martin, our Solihull Manager, was happy to provide a free PADI Open Water Diver course and Crew Pack to the event, for the grand raffle.

DebRA is the only national charity exclusively committed to the support of families effected by EB. The condition is a genetic condition that causes blistering and shearing of the skin, and at present there is no know cure. Through the help of Debra, and the efforts of volunteers like Angela & Mike, the 5000 individuals and families here in the UK are offered massive assistance. The assistance provided includes specialist travelling nurses and equipment, along with respite holiday breaks for families living with the condition.
